Les Peyrades
This red Vin de Pays des Cotes de Gascogne is made with the four red grape varieties grown on the property.
Merlot 40%, Cabernet Sauvignon 40%, Cabernet Franc 10% and Tannat 10%. This assembly gives us a typical Gascony product.
A beautiful ruby color welcomes us when we discover this wine, accompanied by garnet reflections. The nose gives us fruity and spicy aromas. The palate gives us fine aromas, accompanied by supple tannins.
Grape varieties : Merlot - Cabernet Franc - Cabernet Sauvignon - Tannat.
Terroir : Clay and limestone
Consumption : To consume as an accompaniment to grilled meats or roast poultry.
Keep from 1 to 5 years. Serve at room temperature. Open 1 hour before tasting.
The vineyard of the Domaine Saint-Lannes, which takes its name from the nearby Romanesque Chapel of the 12th century, is located on the magnificent clay-limestone soils of the Ténarèze.
Surrounded by quarries whose limestone outcrops in places, the Domaine Saint-Lannes produces rich, concentrated wines, very marked by an undeniable "terroir" effect and an outstanding typicity.
